Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) trained facilitators work with young mothers helping them to
understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs, support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions, enhance the development of their child’s self esteem, and honour the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure.
Thanks to our collaboration with Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) and MRCC Enhanced Maternal and Child Health Services, young mothers can attend birthing classes, lactation classes and learn what to expect during the last stages of pregnancy, labour and birth, breastfeeding and the first weeks following birth.
Antenatal consultations or midwife appointments are now available onsite at 278 Deakin Ave.
